What you'll need

  • Spray bottle with soapy water (a few drops of dish soap)
  • Squeegee or felt-edge card
  • Clean microfiber cloth
  • Hair dryer or heat gun (optional, for curved edges)

Steps

  1. Clean the headlight thoroughly with soapy water and a microfiber cloth. Remove wax, grease, and road grime.
  2. Wet both the headlight and the adhesive side of the film generously with slip solution.
  3. Position the pre-cut film over the headlight and align the edges before it sticks.
  4. Squeegee from the center outward to push out water and air bubbles.
  5. Heat curved edges gently and press down so the film conforms.
  6. Cure for 24 hours and avoid washing the car for 48 hours. Minor haze disappears as it fully cures.

Tip: Install in a shaded area below 30°C for the easiest working time.
